During my internship at Look North World, I worked on four projects using Unreal Engine Fortnite over three months. I worked 40 hours a week to take some game updates and new projects from pitch to designing, prototyping, and production.
- Took two game ideas from pitch to production within a week using UEFN for GameJams
- Collaborate with designers and artists to receive feedback on map outlines and prop placement
- Decorated a map for Halloween using pre-existing assets
- Put together a custom sign for a Halloween event using premade assets
- Playtested various projects by Look North World with coworkers & provided feedback on ideas and bugs found
- Created various design documents for an Unreleased project
- Participated in one-on-one and team meetings to discuss ideas, feedback on projects, and discuss my progress on projects
- Created custom UI for Unreleased project
- Worked with functions to implement gameplay, such as teleporting at the end of Peely's Over It
- Sketched top-down designs of map areas before grey boxing in Engine and implementing them
